Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate a delivery truck to transport goods and materials to our customers.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring that they are properly secured and protected during transport.
  • Record Trip Information: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered during transport.
  • Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure that it is in good working condition.
  • Operate Forklift: Operate a forklift to load and unload goods from the truck.
  • Clean and Maintain Vehicles: Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of the vehicle, including the engine and other components.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G licence to operate a delivery truck.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess strong attention to detail to ensure that goods are properly loaded and unloaded.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift and move heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to interact with customers and other team members.
