Senior Legal Assistant in Litigation - International Law Firm
Our client, a renowned international law firm, is seeking a senior legal assistant with solid knowledge in litigation to assist two lawyers in their daily tasks.
- Prepare standard litigation procedures;
- Prepare legal documents from handwritten, dictated, or note texts;
- Handle routine correspondence and communicate with clients as needed;
- Manage lawyers' schedules and perform necessary follow-ups;
- Create, monitor, and maintain up-to-date client files;
- Coordinate administrative tasks such as accounting, opening and closing files, time entries, etc.
- Perform time entries, expense tracking, and invoicing.
- Any other related tasks.
Requirements:
- Hold a relevant degree;
- Accumulate at least 7 years of similar experience;
- Master French and English*, both orally and in writing;
- Be organized, flexible, and discreet.
*Our client serves a client base with national and international presence and must be able to offer services in French and English at all times. This position requires bilingualism, as the incumbent will need to provide services related to various documents written only in English, as well as interact with numerous stakeholders in Canada and abroad who speak only English.
