We offer a range of services tailored to meet the needs of clients and their families, ensuring interventions are delivered in the most suitable environment, whether that be in a clinic, community setting, or the client's home.
As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN), you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized supportive counseling and case management to clients with diverse clinical needs. Your role will involve ongoing mental health assessments, risk evaluations, and supportive therapies, including medication management and assistance with financial resources for clients facing complex challenges in addiction and mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in delivering a wide range of nursing services aimed at promoting and restoring mental health.
- Advocate for clients and ensure their safety and well-being through effective counseling and education.
- Deliver safe, quality, and family-centered care that aligns with the core values of Alberta Health Services.
Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must have completed an accredited Psychiatric nursing education program and hold an active registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA). Additionally, a current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with extensive knowledge of community resources related to Addiction and Mental Health, as well as familiarity with mental health legislation, including Community Treatment Orders, will be highly regarded.
