Your Opportunity:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Alberta Health Services provides high-quality patient care by observing, monitoring, and reporting changes in patients' physical, mental, and emotional states. This role involves assisting patients with daily activities and providing relevant information and teaching to patients and their families.
Description:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be part of an interprofessional healthcare team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and AHS policies and procedures. Your key responsibilities will include providing safe, quality patient-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Palliative nursing care experience would be an asset. Computer experience is preferred.
