About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Security Specialist to join our team at A2Z Networks & IT Consulting Inc. (Alberta). As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to identify their security requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Information Systems Development: Design, develop, and implement secure information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Security Strategy and Advice: Provide expert advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery to ensure the highest level of security.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware.
  • Security Policy Development: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems to ensure they meet the highest standards.
  • Work Environment: This is a permanent, full-time position with a standard work week of 35 hours.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
