Stroke Neurologist

We are seeking an exceptional neurologist to join our team at the Ottawa Department of Medicine. As a key member of our Stroke Neurology program, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding care to our patients.
The Department of Medicine is a research-intensive department with a strong focus on academic excellence. Our team is renowned for its programs in neuromuscular, MS, neuro-ophthalmology, movement disorders, epilepsy, and stroke. We have a wide range of basic and clinical research skills, including epidemiology, ethics, translational research, and trial design.
As a stroke neurologist, you will be responsible for participating in outpatient stroke care through the Stroke Prevention Clinic, rotating on the Neurovascular Unit, and participating in Ottawa Stroke Program research trials and academic activities. You will also teach medical students, residents, and fellows in outpatient and inpatient settings, and participate in the Stroke on-call rotation on a regular basis.
