Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Portfolio Manager to join our team at Bombardier Transportation GmbH. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for delivering IT portfolio/projects/programs, including strategy and delivery approach. You will ensure IT Portfolio budgets and forecasts are in line with organization objectives and support the IT PMO resource life cycle, including resource management, onboarding, and resource hiring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver IT portfolio/projects/programs, including strategy and delivery approach
  • Ensure IT Portfolio budgets and forecasts are in line with organization objectives
  • Support the IT PMO resource life cycle, including resource management, onboarding, and resource hiring
  • Maintain required Supplier project delivery Governance in place
  • Promote knowledge transfer and lessons learnt activities within the PMO and IT project teams to drive best practice
  • Manage a cross-functional team of IT Project managers and IT PMO resources
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in managing IT portfolio, IT projects, resources assignments and levelling
  • Experience in delivering IT Projects through IT PMO using complete Project Lifecycle, preferably on an international basis
  • Excellent technical level with regards to Project Management tools & methodology (ideally with PMP/PMI)
  • Business-fluent English (written and spoken is mandatory)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt to an international dynamic working environment
  • Ability to work with IS stakeholders and experience in resource planning against prioritized project portfolio
