Key Responsibilities:

The Development Director (DD) is responsible for overseeing all facets of team leadership and project management. This role requires a strong background in team development and a track record of delivering high-quality products. As a DD, you will work closely with the Characters Tools team to implement innovative technologies that enhance character representation for our game development partners. You will report directly to the Senior Development Director.

Daily Tasks Include:

  1. Providing project management support for specific initiatives within the Characters domain.
  2. Facilitating career growth for team members.
  3. Identifying task dependencies and collaborating with external teams as necessary.
  4. Proactively addressing team and project risks, focusing on eliminating obstacles.
  5. Monitoring sprint and roadmap progress, and communicating variances to key stakeholders.
  6. Collaborating with other Development Directors to foster a creative, inclusive, and educational environment for team members.
Qualifications:

  1. Over 5 years of experience managing technical projects and at least 3 years in team development.
  2. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  3. More than 1 year of experience with Agile project management methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in managing technical personnel.
  2. Background in a tools team within the gaming industry.
  3. Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA or Asana.
  4. Experience in analyzing and presenting metrics.
