Job Title: Employment and Youth Resource Specialist

Confederation College is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Employment and Youth Resource Specialist. This position is responsible for providing customer service, reception, and promotion of the NEW Community Employment Resource Centre in Dryden.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service and reception support to clients and visitors
  • Assist with the registration and pre-assessment of clients for employment programs
  • Coordinate administrative details for the NEW Community Employment Resource Centre
  • Support outreach activities for the marketing of the NEW services
  • Provide program support and mentoring for the Youth Job Connect Programs
  • Coordinate job readiness training for youth seeking employment opportunities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related field, such as Human Resources, English, Hospitality, or Social Services
  • Experience facilitating workshops and providing employment advisement and referrals
  • EOIS CAMS and photo editing software skills
  • Advanced level knowledge of websites and computer programs
  • Crisis intervention training

Working Conditions:
