Position Overview

As a Senior Agile Business Analyst at Onico Solutions, you will act as a vital link between the business and IT departments, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the business's requirements and contributing significantly to the successful management of projects throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and development teams to deliver effective solutions for both internal and external applications within an Agile framework.
  • Design, communicate, and execute detailed plans for requirement definition, including timelines, methodologies, stakeholders, and expected outcomes.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with diverse stakeholders, employing best practices to extract precise requirements.
  • Establish a strong partnership with business teams to gain deep insights into their operations, facilitating the capture of clear and accurate business requirements.
  • Act as a bridge between business and IT, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment on both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Utilize models such as gap analysis, use cases, and prototypes to convey business requirements and design concepts effectively.
  • Be responsible for creating, refining, and maintaining user stories and related deliverables, including process flows and test cases, to satisfy development and stakeholder needs.
  • Provide project management support by applying approved methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test cases based on user stories.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment through information sharing and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Commerce/Business Administration, Applied/Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst capacity within an Agile project environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of project and software development methodologies, including Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong skills in presentation, facilitation, interviewing, and conducting workshops.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Capability to navigate through ambiguity and simplify complex situations.
  • Aptitude for managing unexpected changes and communicating potential impacts and recovery options.

This role is a contract position.
