Greenhouse Horticulturist

Grozone Greenhouse Ltd. is seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team. As a Greenhouse Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our plants, ensuring a high-quality crop.
Key Responsibilities:- Mix and prepare soils to meet the specific needs of our plants.
- Plant bulbs and seeds, and pot and re-pot plants as needed.
- Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings to ensure optimal growth.
- Monitor plants for signs of insect or disease damage and report any issues to management.
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a healthy environment.
- Clean the work area to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination to ensure accurate plant care.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling capacity.
- Work in a wet/damp environment with hot temperatures.
- Non-smoking work site.
- Efficient interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- English is the primary language of communication.
- 40 to 60 hours per week.
