Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Shared Health. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including scheduling appointments, managing records, and preparing reports.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the reception desk and general office duties.
  • Coordinate diagnostic bookings and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to professional and provincial guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and maintain standards put forth by Accreditation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a healthcare or administrative setting.
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Completion of a recognized secretarial course or combination of education and experience.
  • Accurate typing skills of 55 wpm under standard tests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge of RIS/PACS, EPR, and eChart an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluent language skills in both French and English (written and oral).
