Overview:

Engage in various sales and customer service functions to assist clients in making knowledgeable purchasing choices regarding boats and ATVs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates a strong dedication to exceptional customer service, ensuring a pleasant and efficient shopping experience for all patrons.
  • Welcomes all visitors to the department in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Consults with prospective clients to assess their boating and/or ATV requirements.
  • Supplies essential information to empower customers in their purchasing decisions.
  • Stays informed about current products by utilizing available resources, including product brochures, online materials, and training sessions.
  • Keeps abreast of promotional items, pricing strategies, and current offers.
  • Adheres to all sales training and guidelines consistently.
  • Collaborates effectively with the Service Department to ensure a seamless delivery experience for customers.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality regarding all sensitive and personal information.
  • Prepares the showroom daily, ensuring proper signage and cleanliness of all products for optimal presentation.
  • Ensures the integrity and cleanliness of merchandise throughout the day.
  • Generates and manages leads and prospects using the designated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including entering new customer data and documenting follow-up activities.
  • Participates in special events such as boat shows and promotional activities.
  • Completes all necessary documentation associated with the sales process accurately.
  • Aims to meet and exceed established individual monthly sales targets based on various factors including employment status and historical performance.
  • Achieving company sales objectives on a monthly basis is essential.
  • Maintains a tidy and professional workspace.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures diligently.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to perform calculations such as discounts and percentages.
  • Excellent communication skills, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to establish and sustain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and clients.
  • Proficient in operating computer systems and Point of Sale register systems.
