Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Advisor to join our team at Fraserway RV. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient processing of parts orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in purchasing parts and accessories for their recreational vehicles
  • Knowledge of parts inventory and installation techniques
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and efficient processing of parts orders
  • Verify prices and enter orders into the computer system
  • Analyze customer requests for parts and provide information and prices from service manuals and reference materials
  • Establish relationships with distributors, dealers, and service centers to notify them of parts availability and shipment dates
  • Merchandise new parts and maintain a clean and organized parts area
  • Transport parts to and from service technicians to maintain efficiency
  • Enter sale prices into the computer system and replace price stickers as needed
  • Perform inventory cycle counts and update purchase order comments
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
Requirements
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of parts inventory and installation techniques
  • Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Availability to work rotating shifts and be available to work on weekends
  • Previous experience in retail parts and inventory management is an asset
