Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a safe working environment.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team to deliver exceptional service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Budgeting and Record Keeping: Prepare budgets and cost estimates, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Work Schedules: Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
As a Food Service Supervisor at A&W, you will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure to meet customer demand and maintain high-quality service. You will be required to stand for extended periods, ensuring that you are physically able to perform the duties of the role.
Requirements:- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
