Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring that our staff are working efficiently and effectively.
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure to meet customer demand and maintain high-quality standards. You will be required to stand for extended periods, ensuring that you are physically able to perform the duties of the role.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure to meet customer demand.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
