Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated **Department Manager** to oversee our supermarket operations. This is a **permanent position** that requires a **bilingual** individual who can effectively manage a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Direct and oversee daily operations** to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • **Evaluate operational performance** and implement improvements as necessary.
  • **Plan and organize** daily activities to meet business objectives.
  • **Manage staff**, assign duties, and conduct performance reviews.
  • **Analyze market trends** to assess consumer demand and competitive landscape.
  • **Determine merchandise** and services to be offered to customers.
  • **Implement pricing strategies** and manage credit policies.
  • **Procure merchandise** for resale and maintain inventory levels.
  • **Plan budgets** and monitor financial performance, including revenues and expenses.
  • **Resolve operational issues**, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • **Recruit and supervise** staff and volunteers to maintain a high level of service.
  • **Order supplies** and manage inventory effectively.
  • **Ensure food safety** and proper handling procedures are followed.
Supervision

This role involves supervising a team of **5-10 individuals**.

Qualifications
