Position Overview: Research Analyst in Vancouver

As a Research Analyst, you will be integral to our local team and contribute significantly to the success of our National Research division. This role involves daily interactions with the Office team, providing essential support and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and verify real estate and economic data, including information on properties, leases, tenants, availabilities, developments, sales, and ownership.
  • Adhere to established protocols to maintain data integrity within our database, conducting regular audits and refinements.
  • Analyze market data to uncover trends and understand the economic and real estate market dynamics.
  • Present market insights and conditions to internal teams and clients as required.
  • Create engaging visual representations and provide valuable insights on local market data, trends, and drivers.
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external clients, facilitating the use of our technological tools.
  • Demonstrate our research capabilities and tools to internal teams and clients.
  • Develop and share best practice standards within the team.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and database systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with visualization tools is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, along with data collection, validation, and auditing abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to succeed and contribute to team success.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A genuine passion for economic and real estate market dynamics and/or urban planning and development.

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation range for this position is between 62,000.00 – 68,000.00 CAD per year, which includes potential bonuses. This range is an estimate and may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, geographic location, and internal equity.
