We are seeking a Research Analyst to enhance our operations in Vancouver. This pivotal role will support our local team while contributing to the success of our National Research division. Daily interactions with the Office team will be a key aspect of this position.
As a Research Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to gather and evaluate data, ensuring its precision and integrity. You will meticulously monitor and assess all facets of the local industrial market. Furthermore, collaboration with our Research team will be essential to present this data in an engaging and insightful manner, establishing a premier research program that distinguishes JLL from its competitors. Participation in a quarterly industry-wide assessment within the GVA will require reliable transportation.
Ideal candidates will possess a genuine enthusiasm for their city, economy, and the commercial real estate sector. Your passion and commitment to understanding the factors that drive success in these areas will be invaluable to our team and clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect and verify real estate and economic data, including information on properties, leases, tenants, availabilities, developments, sales, and ownership.
- Adhere to established procedures to maintain data excellence within our database, regularly auditing and refining datasets.
- Analyze market data to identify trends and comprehend economic and real estate market drivers.
- Present market insights and conditions to internal teams and clients as required.
- Create compelling visual representations and provide meaningful insights on local market data, trends, and drivers.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external clients and facilitate the use of our technological tools.
- Demonstrate our tools and research capabilities to internal teams and clients.
- Develop and disseminate best practice standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A relevant bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and database systems is essential.
- Familiarity with visualization tools is preferred.
- Strong organizational, data collection, validation, and auditing skills are necessary.
- Self-motivated with a desire to succeed and contribute to team success.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective written and oral communication skills.
- A passion for economic and real estate market dynamics and/or urban planning and development.

COMPENSATION:
The estimated total compensation range for this position is: 62,000.00 – 68,000.00 CAD per year. This range includes total compensation, including bonuses, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer will be based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
