About The Role:

As a Track Access Coordinator, you will report to the Track Access Manager, Construction Manager, and/or Senior Project Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to assist senior staff members (Project Managers, Superintendents) in coordinating, scheduling, managing contracts, and reporting on a transit project involving multiple heavy rail lines and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various tasks including updating schedules, assessing risks, managing contract guidelines, and monitoring labor, material, and equipment activities.
  • Attend project meetings, document minutes, present updates, and track action items and other relevant project deliverables.
  • Ensure the security of project sites and company assets while maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
  • Oversee the project change management process, identify change events, submit notices, and track changes in project scope.
  • Provide timely progress reports to the Track Access Manager and project staff.
  • Assist with drawings, revisions, site instructions, and change orders.
  • Obtain and supply written documentation for all clarifications and instructions.
  • Conduct client satisfaction surveys prior to project completion.
  • Support the review and coordination of project-specific safety plans.
  • Maintain safety records and take responsibility for the development and execution of the Project Specific Safety Plan (PSSP).
  • Monitor and evaluate HSE goals and expectations using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain QA/QC records and ensure the implementation of the Project Specific Quality Plan (PSQP) by all stakeholders.
  • Review Field Surveillance Reports (FSR) and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) based on findings.

Qualifications:

  • Trade Certification or Technical Diploma/Degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Experience in rail projects and managing track access/schedules is advantageous.
  • Strong presentation skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required.
  • Experience with scheduling and project management software is necessary.
