About The Role:
As a Track Access Coordinator, you will report to the Track Access Manager, Construction Manager, and/or Senior Project Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to assist senior staff members (Project Managers, Superintendents) in coordinating, scheduling, managing contracts, and reporting on a transit project involving multiple heavy rail lines and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks including updating schedules, assessing risks, managing contract guidelines, and monitoring labor, material, and equipment activities.
- Attend project meetings, document minutes, present updates, and track action items and other relevant project deliverables.
- Ensure the security of project sites and company assets while maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
- Oversee the project change management process, identify change events, submit notices, and track changes in project scope.
- Provide timely progress reports to the Track Access Manager and project staff.
- Assist with drawings, revisions, site instructions, and change orders.
- Obtain and supply written documentation for all clarifications and instructions.
- Conduct client satisfaction surveys prior to project completion.
- Support the review and coordination of project-specific safety plans.
- Maintain safety records and take responsibility for the development and execution of the Project Specific Safety Plan (PSSP).
- Monitor and evaluate HSE goals and expectations using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain QA/QC records and ensure the implementation of the Project Specific Quality Plan (PSQP) by all stakeholders.
- Review Field Surveillance Reports (FSR) and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) based on findings.
Qualifications:
- Trade Certification or Technical Diploma/Degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
- Experience in rail projects and managing track access/schedules is advantageous.
- Strong presentation skills are essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required.
- Experience with scheduling and project management software is necessary.
