Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized educational programs for students with diverse needs.

  • Provide direction and supervision to Instructional Assistants to ensure high-quality educational services.
  • Work closely with Resident Care Coordinators, clinicians, and other team members to ensure coordination and integration of services.
  • Develop linkages and communication with students' family members or advocates.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in education.
  • Certified as a teacher by the Manitoba Department of Education and Training.
  • Formal training in special education is an asset.
  • Previous experience teaching students with developmental/intellectual disabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
