Job Title: Senior IT Audit Consultant

Join our team of experts at Bank of Montreal as we seek a highly skilled Senior IT Audit Consultant to play a critical role in shaping our technology landscape.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in IT audit and risk management to join our team. As a Senior IT Audit Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering key messages to our executives and stakeholders, supporting and maintaining an effective governance framework, and making recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives.

You will also be responsible for conducting independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues, representing the governance structure during internal/external regulatory audits and/or examinations, and developing and applying the framework for databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver key messages to executives and stakeholders
  • Support and maintain an effective governance framework
  • Make recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives
  • Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues
  • Represent the governance structure during internal/external regulatory audits and/or examinations
  • Develop and apply the framework for databases
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 7+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You should have in-depth knowledge of business and related risk management requirements and legislative/regulatory directives and guidance.

You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders. Additionally, you should have experience with data-driven decision making and be able to implement changes in response to shifting trends.
