Position Overview:
As a Senior Wealth Management Associate at National Bank, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in collaborating with clients and colleagues. This role involves working in tandem with investment advisors to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure efficient branch operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate client accounts to identify tailored business opportunities that meet their specific needs.
- Oversee administrative functions related to account management, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional client service.
- Create marketing materials to effectively communicate the service offerings available to investment advisors.
- Organize and coordinate seminars for clients, including planning the content to be presented.
- Participate in financial planning discussions with clients, preparing necessary documentation and ensuring follow-up actions are taken.
- Lead the onboarding, training, and mentoring of new team members.
- Manage the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Collaborate with investment advisors to devise innovative portfolio management and marketing strategies aimed at maximizing outcomes.
- Assist investment advisors in formulating annual business plans and tracking their progress.
Your Team:
You will be part of National Bank Financial – Wealth Management, which ranks as the fifth largest investment dealer in Canada. With nearly 1,000 investment advisors managing the assets of over 400,000 clients across approximately 100 branches, your role will involve partnering with an investment advisor to deliver an exceptional client experience. Success in this position will hinge on collaboration and partnership.

Qualifications:
- Completion of a college or university diploma in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in portfolio management, financial planning, marketing, or taxation.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course, or the requirement to complete them within one year of starting the position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology.
- Awareness of current market trends and activities.
- Strong ability to provide exceptional customer service.
