About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as President and Managing Director at TALINKO Inc. This is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic organization and make a significant impact in the cultural sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to drive the growth and development of TALINKO Inc.
  • Cultural Ambassadorship: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, artists, and cultural organizations, to promote the interests of TALINKO Inc. and the cultural sector.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring effective management of resources, policies, and procedures.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the organization's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and responsible management of resources.
  • Communication and Representation: Serve as the official spokesperson for TALINKO Inc., promoting the organization's mission and values to the public, media, and stakeholders.
  • Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with the cultural community, artists, and organizations, promoting the interests of TALINKO Inc. and the cultural sector.
  • Policy Development: Collaborate with government officials and stakeholders to develop and implement policies that support the growth and development of the cultural sector.
  • Reporting and Accountability: Ensure timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders, including government officials, board members, and the public.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree requiring a minimum of 90 credits (bachelor's degree).
  • Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a management position, with a strong background in the cultural sector.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written French, knowledge of Québec political life, cultural environments, and clientele, general knowledge of artistic disciplines and issues, familiarity with accounting, financial analysis, and financing plans, knowledge of the management contexts of NPOs and the entertainment and arts markets.
