Our Peterborough warehouse plays a crucial role in our success, responsible for storage, expedition, and reception of material from/to construction sites across Canada. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and classify materials, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient storage.
  • Optimize warehouse space to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Prepare documentation for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Verify inventory accuracy and make adjustments as required in our computer system.
  • Perform and coordinate the repair and disposal of materials, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, maintaining a high level of safety and efficiency.
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including purchasing tooling and equipment as required.

Requirements:

  • Secondary or post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Industrial construction experience, with a strong understanding of industrial tooling.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Good data entry skills, with experience using MS Office.
  • Ability to drive forklifts and operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Prior warehouse and administrative work experience an asset.
  • SAP experience an asset.
  • Motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking ability, with a strong sense of prioritization.
  • Team-player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Good physical abilities, with the ability to climb and descend stairs frequently and lift loads of up to 45lbs.
  • Knowledge of French language an asset.
