Role Responsibilities
The Promotions Coordinator will focus on business development and marketing initiatives for Home Care services, collaborating closely with various coordinators to support growth strategies, execute promotional campaigns, and strengthen community partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with coordinators in the Support Services department to oversee and manage the Home Care Services program.
- Design and execute promotional strategies for Home Care Service programs.
- Establish partnerships and enhance community involvement to bolster the Home Care Services function.
- Conduct needs assessments and research to inform the development of new programs.
- Assist the Director of Care in formulating and managing program budgets, ensuring sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and process monthly invoices for assigned programs.
- Deliver written and/or oral reports on activities as required.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Health Care Administration, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
- Experience in business operations within a similar sector.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards governing community services in Ontario.
- Ability to demonstrate a person and family-centered approach to delivering culturally sensitive services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Japanese language proficiency is an asset).
- Competence in report writing and grant application submissions.
- Analytical skills to assess program effectiveness and impact.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional assessment, interviewing, and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position requiring flexibility for evenings, weekends, and on-call duties as necessary.
- The role involves both on-site responsibilities and outreach to the community.
