About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at CODEPAPER TECHNOLOGIES INC. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Management: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
  • Hardware and Software Installation: Install web server hardware and software, as well as load printer with paper and forms, to maintain a efficient and productive work environment.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot, maintain, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform routine network start-up and close-down, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Network Optimization: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure maximum uptime and minimal downtime.
  • Web Development: Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines, ensuring maximum visibility and online presence.
  • Customer Support: Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers, providing timely and effective support to ensure customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and demonstrate dedication to their work.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
