Agilus Work Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Process Systems Engineer to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and coordinating engineering work for our nuclear industry clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement process systems designs for nuclear steam plants.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and support staff.
- Coordinate and review the work of engineers and support employees.
- Perform thermal hydraulic evaluations and process calculations for complex systems.
- Prepare design documents, including design calculations, assessments, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with nuclear codes and standards, including CSA N285.0 and ASME Section III.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario.
- Engineering degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or Engineering Science.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in process system design for the Canadian nuclear industry.
- Experience with heat balance and thermal hydraulic evaluations for nuclear power plant steam cycles.
- Working knowledge of nuclear codes and standards, including CSA N285.0 and ASME Section III.
- Knowledge of analytical tools used for mechanical and process design, such as ANSYS, Mathcad, and Flowmaster.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
