In this essential position, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of psychiatrists focused on the holistic well-being of children and adolescents.

Your efforts will be supported by Youth Crisis and Mental Health Liaison professionals, extending your impact beyond the hospital environment.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, pediatricians, and social workers.

With active staff privileges at RIH, you will take on the role of Most Responsible Physician for your patients during their hospital admissions.

Your commitment to educational excellence will shine as you mentor peers, medical students, and residents in the UBC–Okanagan Psychiatry program.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation Structure: Combination

Estimated Earnings: As a full-time child and adolescent psychiatrist in Kamloops, total compensation is projected to be between $420,000 and $620,000.
