Key Responsibilities- Verify the accuracy of prepared medication, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and product quality standards.
- Identify and correct any discrepancies or errors in medication preparation.
- Count and reconcile Narcotic and Controlled medications with precision and attention to detail.
- Organize and manage workflow to ensure timely delivery of medication to customers.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to regulations regarding sensitive information.
- Stay up-to-date with legal requirements, professional standards, and workplace policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Licensed and registered with the College of Pharmacists as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT), in good standing.
- Liability insurance to practice as a RPhT.
- A minimum of 1 year of continuous experience in a pharmacy environment (Long Term Care, Hospital, or Retail).
- Experience with high-volume filling environments is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Teammate and leadership skills.
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
