Job Summary

Lodex Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on production and other key performance indicators.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice
    • Identify and resolve work-related problems, providing technical guidance and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervision and Training
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 drivers and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance driver skills and knowledge.
  • Dispatch and Route Management
    • Coordinate and schedule driver activities, including dispatching and monitoring routes.
  • Materials and Equipment Management
    • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and security regulations and protocols.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
    • Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Exhibit flexibility, organization, and teamwork skills.
    • Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
