Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales by engaging with customers, employing suggestive selling techniques, and sharing in-depth product knowledge.
  • Assess and comprehend customer requirements, recommending optimal solutions for their construction and renovation projects.
  • Stay informed about current promotions and sales initiatives.
  • Take initiative in customer interactions, demonstrating confidence and leadership.
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales objectives.
  • Prepare quotes and material lists, ensuring timely follow-up with customers.
  • Uphold high standards of safety and customer service.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of products and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Solid background in sales and customer service.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and capability to work independently.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
  • Self-motivated, persuasive, and energetic demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and eagerness to learn new software applications.
  • Familiarity with building materials and the construction process is advantageous.
  • Ability to establish trust with new customers and maintain rapport with existing clients through excellent service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingualism (French/English) is a plus.
