Sales Consultant Opportunities - Project Centre

Project Centre Sales Consultants are skilled sales professionals who collaborate with clients to thoroughly comprehend their requirements and assist in planning construction and renovation endeavors. As adept sales experts, project sales consultants can offer recommendations that effectively address customers' challenges. This role is fast-paced and engaging, and it is incredibly fulfilling when clients choose you for their business due to your dedication.

Potential career advancement: Progress to more senior sales positions such as Contractor, Install, Commercial, or Institutional Sales.

Compensation: This position offers a base salary along with uncapped commission.

Average earnings: $37,000 ($17.79/hr) - $46,000 ($22.12/hr) (including uncapped commission)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales by engaging customers, utilizing suggestive selling techniques, and sharing product knowledge.
  • Clarify and understand customers' needs, proposing the best solutions for their projects.
  • Stay informed about current sales and promotions.
  • Take initiative and confidently guide customer interactions.
  • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare quotes, material lists, and follow up with clients.
  • Exhibit high standards of safety and customer service.
  • Quickly and efficiently resolve customer challenges.
  • Continuously learn about products and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • A solid foundation in sales and customer service.
  • Problem-solving abilities and capability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Confident, persuasive, energetic, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and achieve sales objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new software.
  • Knowledge of building materials and the construction process is a plus.
  • Ability to quickly establish trust with new clients and maintain rapport with existing customers through quality service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (bilingualism in French/English is an asset).
