Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Executive House Suites Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure food and service meet quality control standards
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
    • Stand for extended periods and walk frequently
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant, hotel, motel, or resort environment
