Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Best Western Plus Mirage Hotel & Resort. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage services, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our guests.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchens and dining areas.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our guests feel valued and respected.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on food and beverage sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics, helping us to identify areas for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
