Department Head, Soft Goods, Oshawa Centre

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Head to lead our Soft Goods department at Oshawa Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Development: Coach and develop your department team by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and coaching on a continual basis.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Build and manage a daily sales plan for the department, and create development plans for full-time staff to improve performance gaps.
- Customer Experience: Develop and maintain a positive work environment for staff, and ensure that customers receive exceptional service and support.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrate a customer-focused mindset and drive sales growth through effective planning, execution, and communication.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a retail environment, preferably at a supervisory level.
- Skills: Proven track record of business growth, exceptional customer service skills, and demonstrated interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting goods industry.
