We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to become a vital part of our team at Homewood Health, recognized as the national leader in mental health and addiction treatment in Canada.

Homewood Health operates a private mental health facility that provides evidence-based, medically-led inpatient services for various populations, including first responders, military personnel, veterans, executives, and adults. Our facility is set in a serene environment, offering clients a safe and comfortable space with beautiful views and a world-class team of healthcare professionals.

As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional services and programs to our clients.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, including mopping floors, washing furniture, and sanitizing bathroom fixtures

• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and mops

• Ensure cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and hallways while adhering to health and hygiene standards

• Sanitize toilets, showers, countertops, and sinks

• Wash walls, ceilings, and doors using appropriate cleaning methods

• Dust and polish furniture, mirrors, lighting fixtures, and windows

• Manage laundry tasks, including sorting and washing

• Keep bathrooms stocked with clean linens and supplies

• Empty waste containers and replace liners

This position is casual.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or institutional setting is preferred

• Training in infection prevention and control is an asset

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment

• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Excellent work ethic and attendance record

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays and weekends

• Physically capable of performing the duties of the role, including lifting and various movements
