Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Coordinator to join our team at LTS Protective Services. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing dispatch communication and coordinating operations with security guards regarding incidents, requests for assistance, emergencies, and other critical situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch and Communication: Provide timely and effective dispatch communication with security guards, responding to incidents, requests for assistance, and emergencies.
  • Operations Coordination: Coordinate operations with security guards, ensuring seamless execution of security protocols and procedures.
  • Log Management: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of radio transmissions, telephone calls, and verbal instructions.
  • Backup Support: Direct backup security support as necessary, ensuring the safety and security of personnel and assets.
  • Indirect Supervision: Provide indirect supervision of security guards, ensuring they are equipped to handle situations effectively.
  • Maintenance and Audits: Maintain the camera surveillance system, conduct security equipment audits, and ensure all security-related systems are functioning properly.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports on incidents, security breaches, and other critical events.
Requirements
  • Security Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in security dispatch/operations or scheduling.
  • Security License: A valid Ontario Security Guard License is an asset.
  • Shift Flexibility: Shift flexibility is preferred, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including night shifts and overtime.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service: A strong customer service focus, with the ability to work under pressure and provide excellent interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, requiring a 10-hour shift schedule. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
