We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Nurse Next Door. As a LPN, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing high-quality care and support in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for executing client care plans, providing delegations of task, and assessing client needs. You will also be required to complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly, and meet the safety needs of clients while using equipment safely and properly.

Responsibilities
  • Execute client care plans as outlined by the Care Designer
  • Provide delegations of task and training to a care team
  • Assess client needs and report back to Care Designer with recommendations on complex care plans
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
  • Meet the safety needs of clients and use equipment safely and properly
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be compassionate, kind, and caring, with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. You will also require a valid LPN license, negative TB test, valid First Aid/CPR, and a clear Criminal Record Check. Experience in hospital, home care, and palliative care is an asset, as is excellent written and verbal English skills.
