Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tilesetter to join our team at 13625206 Canada Inc Corp. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled, ensuring accurate alignment.
  • Material Application: Mix and apply various adhesives, including mortar and cement, using hand tools.
  • Tile Installation: Set tiles in place, applying pressure to secure them effectively.
  • Tile Alignment: Ensure tiles are aligned and straight for a professional finish.
  • Custom Fitting: Cut and fit tiles around obstacles using both hand and power tools.
  • Repair Work: Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles as necessary.
  • Supervision: Oversee the work of other team members when required.
  • Mosaic Design: Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs on walls and floors.
  • Installation of Materials: Cut, polish, and install marble and granite surfaces.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate material costs and quantities for projects.
  • Terra Surfaces: Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces as needed.
Work Environment

This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to distinguish between colors. Candidates should have strong hand-eye coordination and be prepared for a large workload, including potential overtime.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Willingness to train; prior experience is an asset.
