Job Title: Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Canada Inc Corp. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various settings, including residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, cutting, and fitting tiles around obstacles.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
  • Set tiles in place, using hand tools and power equipment to achieve precise alignment and straightness.
  • Cut and fit tiles around openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Install tile strips and other finishing elements to complete the installation.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and attention to detail.
  • Hand-eye coordination and physical stamina to perform manual labor.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Team player with a hardworking attitude.
  • Will train.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Overtime required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload.

Experience:
  • Permanent position.
  • 35 hours per week.
