Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at De Haas Landscape Design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Execution: Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, and organize the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
  • Technical Advice: Provide technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property.
  • Scheduling and Supervision: Schedule work, plan and direct grounds maintenance, and supervise 1 to 2 people.
  • Materials and Equipment: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain work records and logs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Specialization: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
