Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Technician to join our team in Goose Bay, NL. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining airport-specific Ground Service Equipment, as well as performing light and heavy maintenance on automobiles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair Ground Service Equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Perform routine maintenance on automobiles, including inspections, repairs, and replacements
  • Provide field service and shop service for equipment, including troubleshooting and repair
  • Assist with compiling quotes and procuring parts and equipment
  • Travel to out bases to provide support and maintenance services
  • Perform other duties as required to support the maintenance team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance, with a certification in vehicle maintenance preferred
  • Experience with airport-specific Ground Service Equipment considered an asset
  • Previous experience with diesel engines an asset
  • Ability to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance
  • Ability to lift upwards to 50lbs
