**About the opportunity**:
**Your responsibilities**:

- Supervise the maintenance, repair and modification of all Aeronautical products associated with assigned projects.
- Mentor Lead Hands, ACAs, AMEs, and Technicians in the performance of their duties and proper conduct.
- Liaise with the Manager, Heavy Maintenance, Director, Heavy Maintenance and all customers on the progress of assigned projects.
- Plan volume of work on project and delegate to staff under supervision to meet delivery date.
- Continuously monitor project progress and adjust planned tasks to meet required milestones.
- Direct and monitor company safety programs and policies to mitigate injury to employees and damage to aircraft.
- Ensure that all company approved documentation is used in the performance of maintenance.
- Ensure that all Aeronautical Products issued have appropriate certification.

**Skills, Abilities and Qualifications Required**:

- 8 years’ experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
- Valid AME license M1/M2 or M2
- Possess at least one of the following TCCA accredited and approved Type Rating Courses: DCH-8-100, 200, 300, DHC-8 Q400, CRJ100/200.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with preference given to those with experience supervising large groups of employees with various skill levels.
- The knowledge, ability and willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in problem solving and managing time under tight deadlines.

**Location and other Key Details**:

- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
