We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, utilizing the nursing process and nursing knowledge to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, preferably in the operating room.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, with the ability to lift, push, and pull equipment as required.
