We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Obstetrics department at Wrinch Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with the Northern Health Authority's mission statement.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient care and nursing practice.
- Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Advanced preparation in a Perinatal clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current Fetal Health Surveillance certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 2 years.
- Post-graduate courses (within the last 5 years) appropriate to service assignment or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in the Obstetrics department.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of quality management principles and practices.
