We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with Northern Health Authority policies and accepted standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical nursing.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Post-basic training and/or one year's recent related clinical experience in an OR/PACU setting and/or one (1) year recent related clinical experience in a critical care area or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Current up-to-date immunization record.
- Successful completion of Criminal Record Check.
- ACLS preferred.

- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
