Job SummaryWe are looking for a Senior Environmental Scientist to lead our environmental assessment and approvals team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Lead environmental assessment and approvals projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Manage a team of environmental professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement environmental assessment methodologies, including baseline surveys, sample collection, and monitoring.
- Prepare technical reports and deliverables, including analytical tables, estimates, and proposals.
- Collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
- Bachelor's degree in biology, ecology, or related environmental discipline.
- Minimum 7-10 years of environmental experience, with a strong background in project management.
- Relevant professional designation, such as P. Biol or EP, is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Word and other current software used in data collection, compilation, and presentation.
