Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Scientist to lead our environmental assessment and approvals team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Lead environmental assessment and approvals projects from conception to completion
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Manage and coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
- Conduct fieldwork, data collection, and analysis
- Prepare and submit reports, proposals, and other deliverables
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality project delivery
- Bachelor's degree in biology, ecology, or related environmental discipline
- Minimum 7-10 years of environmental experience
- Relevant professional designation (e.g. P. Biol, EP, PMP) an asset
- Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
