We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory, market segment, and supplier brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share in assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and optimize sales performance.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of sales, competitive activity, and payment performances of all accounts in assigned territory.
- Participate in sales projects, account evaluations, proposals, presentations, and other sales-related activities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, company policies, and product knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.
- Travel regularly to meet with customers, attend sales meetings, and participate in on-site training and product demonstrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
- Proven sales experience in a similar industry or territory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to calculate discounts and manage sales metrics.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit and type for extended periods, with occasional walking, bending, and standing.
- Ability to lift up to 56lbs, with occasional pushing, pulling, and carrying.
